C-SPAN's StudentCam challenges students to make a 5-6 minute documentary incorporating C-SPAN footage on an annual public affairs theme, working individually or in teams of up to three. High schoolers compete in their own division across three regional groups. C-SPAN awards $100,000 in cash prizes across the middle and high school divisions combined, plus a Fan Favorite bonus and small prizes for behind-the-scenes content.
