Soroptimist International of Truckee Meadows Youth Scholarship

Soroptimist International of Truckee Meadows has spent more than 30 years awarding Youth Scholarships to graduating seniors from Washoe County high schools who want to continue their education, in any field of study. Applications go directly to the chapter (teachers and counselors help pass along information, but there's no requirement to apply through your school), and winners are celebrated at the club's Thanks to Youth luncheon each May. There's no cost to apply and no membership required.
