Ukrainian Federal Credit Union, a participating credit union in the New York Credit Union Association's (NYCUA) College Scholarship Program, awards $500 to $1,500 scholarships to member high school seniors who are first-time, full-time enrollees at a college, university, or trade school for the fall. Applicants must hold an account in their own name, be a member in good standing, and get a verification code from a UFCU branch to apply; no Ukrainian heritage is required. The application includes an essay and a high school transcript, with no application fee.
