Florida high school seniors enrolled in the InVEST insurance-education program can compete for cash scholarships through FAIA. Students planning to major in insurance, risk management, actuarial science, or business compete for college-bound awards of $2,000, $1,500, or $1,000 for 1st through 3rd place, while students pursuing an insurance license or certification without a college degree can win one of two $500 awards toward exam prep and fees. Entries require a 500-word essay on the student's InVEST experience, at least two letters of recommendation, and a current transcript, and funds are paid directly to the school.
