The General Federation of Women's Clubs of Missouri awards multiple $1,000 scholarships each year to graduating Missouri high school seniors enrolling at a Missouri college, university, or technical school. Both male and female students are eligible, and awards are based on volunteerism, achievement, and financial need. A dedicated $1,000 Phoebe Jane Ess Scholarship exists for students majoring in Social Work, and a separate $1,000 award is set aside for technical school students. Applications, including a personal letter and two letters of recommendation, are submitted through your district's GFWC scholarship chairman, and the award is paid directly to the school.
DemographicsOpen to any graduating Missouri high school senior attending a Missouri college, university, or technical school; no GFWC membership required.
