The Korean American Scholarship Foundation awards $500-$5,000 scholarships to Korean-heritage students across the U.S., including high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors, through seven regional chapters (applicants apply to the chapter covering their school's state). Descendants of Korean War veterans may qualify for an additional scholarship category in some regions. Selection weighs financial need, academics, an essay, recommendations, and community service/extracurriculars. No membership or fee is required.
DemographicsOpen to students of Korean heritage (including Korean nationals studying in the U.S.); Korean War veteran descendants may qualify for an added category in some regions.
