Birmingham Promise

Birmingham Promise pays whatever tuition and required fees are left over after the Pell Grant and any other financial aid, for up to four years (eight consecutive fall and spring semesters), at any public two-year or four-year college or university in Alabama. Recipients are also paired with a success coach to help them stay enrolled and on track to graduate. The award covers only tuition and mandatory fees -- it does not pay for housing, meal plans, textbooks, or a second degree.
