APSA offers six named scholarships, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, to the children of Airborne Public Safety Association members in good standing for at least one year; 18 awards are given across all six combined. Some awards, including the Norm Jacobson Memorial, additionally require the parent's law-enforcement duties to include assignment to their agency's aircraft operations unit. A single application — including a short essay, transcript, and recommendation letters — automatically considers applicants for every award they qualify for.
