The Maids of Athena, the AHEPA family's organization for young women, considers one application for four national awards: the $1,000 Maids of Athena National Scholarship, the $1,000 Timothy J. Maniatis Memorial Scholarship, the $500 Archbishop Demetrios Scholarship, and the $500 Becky Angelos Demeris Scholarship. It is open to graduating high school seniors as well as current undergraduate and graduate members in good standing, and applications are judged on academic merit, chapter participation, and financial need by judges unaffiliated with AHEPA.
