National Merit Scholarship (Iowa State University)

Iowa residents who are named National Merit Scholars by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation receive a full-tuition scholarship covering eight semesters at Iowa State University. The award follows automatically once you're named a National Merit Scholar (by completing the standard NMSC steps: designating Iowa State as your first-choice college and being confirmed as a Scholar) and enroll full time as an Iowa resident — there is no separate Iowa State scholarship application. Renewal requires a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
