Oregon Promise helps pay tuition at any Oregon community college for students who recently graduated high school or completed a GED. Applicants need at least a 2.0 cumulative high school GPA (or a 145 GED score) and a Student Aid Index under Oregon's annual limit, which is set separately for each graduating class. Students apply during their senior year, or right after finishing a GED, alongside the FAFSA or ORSAA, with deadlines that vary by graduation date. The grant can be used until a student has attempted 90 college credits, with no cap on the number of terms.
