Educating Children of Color runs one combined application that matches students to more than a dozen named scholarship funds ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, including awards for students with disabilities, LGBTQ+ students, and students raising children on their own. It's built for students of color and students affected by poverty in the Colorado Springs/El Paso County area, and covers juniors and seniors as well as current college students. Applying is free, but recipients must attend the foundation's February Summit Conference to be eligible.
DemographicsServes El Paso County, Colorado students of color and students affected by poverty; several component funds add their own criteria (disability, LGBTQ+ identity, single-parent household, etc.) within the same combined application.
