The Hawthorn Foundation, a Wyoming nonprofit, pays tuition, fees, and book costs (not living expenses, with no stated dollar cap) for Wyoming residents enrolled full-time in any accredited U.S. educational program -- graduating high school seniors, GED recipients, first-generation students, and returning military are all welcome to apply, with no minimum GPA required. Applicants submit an education plan and a short essay on how the program would improve their life circumstances; there's no application fee. Two windows run each year: June 1-July 31 for a fall-term start, and October 1-November 30 for a spring-term start. A renewal application is available for continuing recipients.
