The ESA Foundation's Computer and Video Game Arts and Sciences Scholarship supports women and other underrepresented students with financial need who are rising college freshmen through seniors, enrolled or about to enroll full-time in an undergraduate program at a four-year U.S. college in a field leading to a video-game-industry career, such as computer science or game design. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. The program has funded more than 500 students since 2007, though the Foundation does not publish a per-award dollar amount. The 2026-27 cycle has closed; the 2027-28 cycle opens March 2027.
