Up to 125 U.S. recipients (plus up to 5 international) are selected annually based on academic performance, leadership, work experience or home responsibilities, and a statement of career and educational goals; financial need is not a factor. Required materials are a transcript and SAT/ACT scores -- no essay or recommendation letters are listed as requirements. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years toward a bachelor's degree. Administered by Scholarship America.
