American Legion Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship

The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin awards three $1,000 Schneider-Emanuel Scholarships each year to graduating seniors from any accredited Wisconsin high school. Applicants qualify through a living relative who is a Legionnaire, Auxiliary member, or Sons of The American Legion member — the student does not need to join or pay dues themselves. The application includes a personal statement of education and career goals, a transcript with class rank and ACT score, plus four rating sheets from non-relative references such as a school official, clergy, or character references.
