Community Foundation of the Ozarks Scholarships

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) manages about 450 private donor-established scholarship funds and runs a single online 'universal application' each year that screens every applicant against them at once, each fund carrying its own donor-set eligibility rules. For the 2026-27 academic year CFO is awarding nearly $1.7 million to about 950 students across its southern and central Missouri service region. The portal reopens every January 1 and closes for the following academic year's cycle before the school year it funds begins.
