The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students awards at least $1,000 to graduating seniors from a Fresno Unified comprehensive high school (or Design Science, Duncan, Patino, or Farber Educational Campus) who plan to attend a community college, four-year university, trade or technical school, or enter the military. There's no minimum GPA — the application is judged on essay-style responses about educational plans, goals, and financial need, plus school and community involvement. The award floor can rise above $1,000 depending on how much funding is available that year.
