The Wisconsin Bankers Foundation awards four $2,000 Spring Scholarships each year to Wisconsin high school seniors enrolling that fall at an accredited Wisconsin public or private nonprofit college, university, or technical college (Wisconsin residents already enrolled may also apply). Applicants must show academic, community, and pre-professional achievement -- a job or internship counts -- and write about why financial literacy matters to them; interest in a financial-services career strengthens an application but isn't required, and dependents of employees at WBA-member banks get an added edge. Submissions open each spring. The Foundation also runs a separate Agricultural Banking Scholarship (two $1,500 awards, due November 16) limited to students already enrolled in an agricultural-banking track.
