The ATF Association offers two scholarships for children and grandchildren of current or retired ATF employees who are dues-paying ATFA members: the LeBleu, McKeehan, Williams & Willis Memorial, named for four agents killed in the 1993 Waco raid (award amount not published), and the John Bost III Memorial ($1,500), which also funds companion awards for Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD and Maui PD applicants. Both require an original essay reviewed through a blind process — AI writing tools are explicitly prohibited.
DemographicsApplicant must be the child or grandchild of a current or retired ATF employee, and the family must hold current dues-paying ATF Association membership; applicants must be registered or committed to attend a college, university, or technical program the following fall, and prior recipients are not eligible to reapply.
Only the John Bost III Memorial's $1,500 amount is published; the LeBleu, McKeehan, Williams & Willis Memorial's amount is not disclosed.
