The LULAC National Scholarship Fund gives three tiers of awards to students who have applied to or are enrolled in a two-year college, four-year college, or vocational school: National Scholastic Achievement Awards ($2,000, GPA 3.5+), Honors Awards ($500-$2,000, GPA 3.0+), and General Awards ($250-$1,000) that weigh need, community involvement, and leadership alongside grades and a personal essay. Every dollar a local LULAC Council raises is matched by an LNESC corporate partner. An applicant must live where a participating LULAC Council operates.
DemographicsMust be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or DACA recipient, and live where a participating LULAC Council operates; applicants related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local Council's funds are not eligible.
