The Presidential Scholarship is Beloit College's most prestigious academic-merit award for incoming first-year students, recognizing exceptional academic achievement and the potential for continued success as a scholar and campus contributor. All first-year applicants are automatically considered for it alongside Beloit's other merit tiers (Eaton and Deans' Award) -- there's no separate scholarship application, essay, or fee. It awards $46,000-$50,000 per year to applicants with a 3.5-4.0 unweighted GPA (test scores aren't required for consideration) and renews each year the student maintains Satisfactory Academic Progress and good standing with the Dean of Students Office.
