shift_ed covers the remaining tuition balance after federal aid, state grants, and other institutional scholarships are applied, for Guilford County Schools graduates enrolling full-time at any of the 16 UNC System schools, any NC community college, or a handful of private partner colleges including Wake Forest, Guilford College, Greensboro College, and Salem College. Students must have attended GCS continuously since 9th grade and file the FAFSA every year they want the award renewed. There is no fee to apply.

DemographicsOpen only to Guilford County Schools graduates with continuous GCS enrollment since 9th grade; award size is reduced for family adjusted gross income above $75,000 and phases out around $150,000.
