The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame awards $5,000 each year to one Connecticut woman beginning her first year of college or university. Selection is based on academic promise, leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to making a difference; applicants typically submit an essay connecting their own goals to the legacy of a CWHF inductee. The scholarship was established in 2016 in partnership with Kaman Corporation, honoring Eileen Kraus, the first woman to head a major regional financial institution.
DemographicsOpen only to women; applicant must be a Connecticut resident beginning her first year of college.
