TheDream.US funds college for immigrant students, with or without DACA or TPS, who arrived in the U.S. before age 16 and before November 1, 2020, and completed U.S. high school. The National Scholarship covers up to $16,500 toward an associate's degree or $33,000 toward a bachelor's degree at a network of partner colleges, plus up to $6,000 for books, supplies, and transportation, and renews annually through degree completion. Applicants need a 2.5+ high school GPA, cannot be Pell Grant-eligible, and must be eligible for in-state tuition at their chosen partner college (an exception applies for Texas residents). The application includes an essay; the essay and other soft factors (activities, rigor, home responsibilities) are explicitly part of the scoring.
