Transform Rhode Island Scholarship (TRIS)

Papitto Opportunity Connection's Transform Rhode Island Scholarship (TRIS) asks any Rhode Island high school student, in any grade, to answer one prompt: how would you spend $1 million to improve the lives of those who need it most in Rhode Island? Ten winners are chosen each year - one grand-prize winner receives $25,000, two receive $15,000, two receive $10,000, and five receive $5,000 - and POC also works to help bring winning ideas to life. Open to students at any public, private, charter, or parochial school in Rhode Island, or in a registered home-school program. There is no fee to apply, and past winners may not reapply.
