South Carolina Independent Insurance Agents Foundation Scholarship

The IIABSC Foundation awards scholarships to South Carolina residents whose parent works for an IIABSC member insurance agency and lives in South Carolina. Graduating high school seniors headed to full-time study at a four-year college can apply alongside current college students, with up to eight $2,000 scholarships given out each year. Applicants submit a short written response (250 words) on how the scholarship would help them and one letter of recommendation from a teacher, dean, or professor. The award is renewable with reapplication, and there is no specific major requirement.
