Christopher D. Redding Youth Asthma Foundation Scholarship

The Christopher D. Redding Youth Asthma Foundation awards at least $2,000 to a graduating senior with a physician-documented asthma diagnosis who lives in the Chicago area and plays at least one high school sport. The application asks for an essay on how asthma has shaped the student's life, plus recommendation letters from a coach and a community-service organization.
