AMVETS Children/Grandchildren Scholarship

Open to graduating high school seniors who are the child or grandchild of an honorably (or general-under-honorable) discharged U.S. veteran, or an active-duty/National Guard/Reserve member. Requires U.S. citizenship, demonstrated financial need, and a 400-500 word themed essay, and applicant must be entering an accredited four-year college the fall of graduation. Part of a wider AMVETS scholarship family that separately covers veterans themselves and spouses/widows.
