American Legion Department of North Carolina Colon Furr Memorial Nursing Scholarship

The American Legion's Department of North Carolina awards this $600 scholarship to a North Carolina resident who has been accepted into or is enrolled in a one-year LPN program or a two-to-four-year RN program at a North Carolina school. Your application needs to be endorsed by a local American Legion Post, along with letters from teachers or counselors and a current transcript. The scholarship check is sent directly to your school.
