Maine State Grant

The Maine State Grant Program provides need-based aid to Maine residents enrolled at least half-time in a certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree program at an eligible Maine public or private school. There is no separate application -- filing the FAFSA each year a student plans to attend is all that's required -- and eligibility is based on the Student Aid Index, capped at 10,000 for 2026-27.
