The Sons of Pericles, the AHEPA family's organization for young men, considers one application for three national awards: the $1,000 Sons of Pericles National Scholarship, the $500 SOP AHEPA Senior Living Scholarship, and the $500 SOP Philotimo Scholarship. It is open to graduating high school seniors as well as current undergraduate and graduate members in good standing; applicants submit an essay on the chapter's Heritage, Service, and Brotherhood motto along with a transcript and resume, and the sponsoring chapter must be current on its own dues. Judges independent of AHEPA weigh chapter participation, academic merit, and financial need.
Eligibility
DemographicsMust be a Sons of Pericles member in good standing (the AHEPA family's organization for young men, ages 12-25); joining is ordinary chapter dues, not a fee to enter the scholarship.
