New Jersey Professional Firefighters Association Scholarship

The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey awards three $1,000 scholarships a year, through its Peter F. Smith Scholarship fund, to a graduating high school senior whose parent or guardian is an active PFANJ member. You'll need at least a 3.0 GPA, a non-relative reference, a teacher recommendation, and a 250-word essay about your experience as the child of a firefighter or EMS worker. Applications must be received by the first Friday in May.
