The Emory Scholars Program is Emory University's premier merit scholarship for incoming first-year students. Roughly 10,000 applicants are considered each year, and 175 to 200 are named Scholar Finalists based entirely on their regular admission application — there's no separate form, essay, or nomination. Awards range from partial to full merit-based scholarships and are renewable for all eight semesters of undergraduate study as long as a student maintains high academic and personal standing. To be considered, apply through Emory's Early Decision I, Early Decision II, or Regular Decision plan and answer yes to the Scholars-interest question on the application itself.
DemographicsRequires admission to Emory University. No separate application — considered automatically from the general Early Decision/Regular Decision application; open to all majors nationwide.
Emory does not publish a fixed dollar figure; awards range from partial to full merit-based scholarships depending on the finalist pool each year.
