Founders Scholarship (Luther College)

Luther College's Founders Scholarship is the highest of its five automatic academic merit tiers, awarding $39,000 a year to admitted first-year students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.90 or better. Standardized test scores aren't required and only factor in if a student chooses to submit them. There's no separate scholarship application — Luther evaluates every applicant's transcript as part of the standard admission review — and the award renews through a student's fourth year.
