Texas Restaurant Foundation W. Price Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Named for the Texas Restaurant Association's first executive director, this Texas Restaurant Foundation scholarship goes to seven graduating seniors each year coming out of a high school hospitality program -- including Texas ProStart -- and headed toward a career in restaurants or foodservice. Each of the seven recipients receives $1,000 toward culinary, hospitality, or restaurant management studies. It's one of several statewide Texas Restaurant Foundation awards for students entering the industry.
