AbbVie CF Scholarship

The AbbVie CF Scholarship awards forty $3,000 scholarships each year to U.S. students with cystic fibrosis entering or continuing undergraduate, graduate, or vocational study; two of the forty recipients are later selected through public voting to receive an additional $22,000 as Thriving Scholars. Applicants do not need to have taken any AbbVie medication to qualify.

Eligibility

DemographicsMust be diagnosed with cystic fibrosis; U.S. citizen or permanent resident; high school seniors must complete high school or a GED by June of the application year.

Applying

$3,000 base award for 40 recipients; 2 of the 40 receive an additional $22,000 (Thriving Scholarship), for $25,000 total.
