Banneker/Key Scholarship (University of Maryland)

The Banneker/Key Scholarship is the University of Maryland's most prestigious merit award, covering up to the full cost of tuition, mandatory fees, housing, food, and a book allowance, along with admission to the Honors College. There is no separate application; every freshman who submits a complete application by the early action deadline is automatically considered. Semifinalists are invited to interview in late February or early March, with final scholarship amounts announced by April 1.
