Saint Louis University's Presidential Scholarship covers full tuition for 10 consecutive full-time fall/spring semesters, awarded to students who show strong leadership and embody SLU's Jesuit mission of being 'men and women for others.' Eligibility starts with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.85 or higher (weighted or unweighted) as of the end of junior year; ACT/SAT scores aren't required. Beyond the general admission application, students must submit a separate Presidential Scholarship application with a 500-word essay, a resume, and two letters of recommendation, all due December 1. A select group of applicants is then invited to SLU's campus to interview and compete for the award, and recipients can apply for up to $1,200 in additional funding for a research, service, or internship project.
DemographicsRequires admission to Saint Louis University; needs a separate Presidential Scholarship application (essay, resume, two recommendation letters) plus a campus interview for finalists, beyond the admission application.
Full cost of tuition for 10 consecutive full-time (up to 18 credit hours) fall/spring semesters; replaces any other SLU merit scholarship offer.
