The Grand Lodge of Indiana Scholarship Board awards scholarships toward undergraduate study at an Indiana college or university, based on academic achievement and community service. First priority goes to Indiana Master Masons in good standing and to their sons, daughters, adopted or stepchildren, orphans, and grandchildren, but a student who isn't related to a Mason can still apply with a Masonic sponsor. Recipients must maintain full-time status (at least 12 credit hours) at an Indiana school; the award cannot be used for out-of-state schools or graduate study. The online application typically opens in mid-January and closes at the end of March.
DemographicsPriority to Indiana Master Masons and their immediate family; a non-relative can also apply as long as they have a Masonic sponsor, and personal Masonic membership is not required to apply that way.
