Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region Scholarships

The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region runs a universal scholarship application that checks you against more than 30 individual scholarship funds with one submission instead of many separate ones. Most funds require residency in New York's Capital Region — commonly Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, or Schenectady County — though some are further limited to particular high schools or backgrounds, such as children of military families. Winners are notified at their high school's awards ceremony or by email by the end of June.
